The guiding principle of TEAC is to enrich our society through our innovative products. TEAC is highly regarded for its video, image and sound recording technologies, and now introduces medical imaging recorders for microscopic surgery. We have been contributing to society's use of analog and digital recording since 1953, helping customers and partners with the technologies to record and play back sound, still images, and video images. We have been providing our Products to the healthcare industry well over 2 decades. Examination images and procedure images are recently used to explain, educate, and present, therefore it is essential that medical video are currently recorded and played at medical sites. We focus on the reliability and the convenience of use about “a function of record” and aiming to show recorded images for explanation and education clearly regarding “a function of play” to satisfy the needs of medical sites, then we strive research and development every day. Also, we put effort into not only improvement of function for a recorder, but also development of viewer software and connecting to systems of third parties. Regarding media for recording, we have introduced recordable Laser Disc in the 1980s and MO Disk in the 1990s. After that, recording size was getting bigger. Therefore, we introduced media which is the most suitable, such as DVD-RAM and SD card. Then we have been contributing to the industry of medical image. Now, we have products that have the ability to send recorded images to medical image management server, medical image recorder for still image and video to manufacturers of modality for endoscopy and ultrasonography. We have sold thirty kinds of products and twenty thousand recorders including OEM products, Currently, we are working to develop and offer new products which are focused on the ease of use for recording to improve industry of medical image.
